Using Our Tax Dollars Wisely

Castlebrook’s public-sector projects include construction of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts center in Midland, Beaver County; renovations on the Rochester Municipal Building and on the Beaver County Emergency Response and 911 Call Center in Ambridge.

Reviving the Rochester, PA Riverfront

As part of Rochester, Pennsylvania’s revitalization efforts, Castlebrook is creating Rochester Riverfront, mixed-use development on six acres of a former brownfield site along PA Route 65 and the Ohio River. By spring 2011, Riverfront will feature residential units, offices, retail stores, restaurants and cafes, and entertainment venues with spectacular views of the river to the north, west and south.

Rochester Riverfront is Beaver County’s only mixed-use development project, and the only place of its kind within a 35-mile radius. When Riverfront is complete, Beaver County residents will have somewhere close to home where they can go for a night on the town or upscale shopping instead of trekking to Pittsburgh’s South Side Works along the banks of the Monongahela River.

More Space for Less-than-Truckload Carriers

To help less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers operate more efficiently, Castlebrook constructed a 416,000 square-foot distribution center at the intersection of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and PA Route 60 in Big Beaver Borough. The building, which is the only one in the area with a high-clearance roof of __ feet and enables LTL carriers to distribute their loads without having to go to distribution centers located far from the Turnpike.
