A Steel Service Center Equipped for the 21st Century

Frontier Steel is a steel service center that processes and distributes carbon steel plate in thicknesses ranging from 16ga to 16” as well as widths of up to 120” and lengths of up to 720.”

The 33-acre site is formerly the Dravo Barge Facility, which manufactured Landing Ship Tanks (LSTs) during World War II. We’re located at mile marker 7.8 on the Ohio River, with has easy access to barge and rail transportation, and Interstate 79.

Frontier Steel was established in 1999. The company has earned ISO 9001:2008 certification and was named to Entrepreneur magazine’s list of the “Hot 100” fastest-growing small businesses.

Our Facility

We have 125,000 square feet of storage and processing space, and stock more than 12,000 tons of carbon steel plate and flat-rolled products.
