General Carbide's Mona Pappafava-Ray Named
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Finalist

Mona Pappafava-Ray, General Carbide Corporation's president and CEO, has been selected as a regional finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award. The group of leading entrepreneurs in western Pennsylvania and West Virginia was chosen by an independent judging panel made up of previous Award winners, leading CEOs, private capital investors and other regional business leaders.
“I am honored to be in the select company of so many successful business people in this region,” says Ms. Pappafava-Ray. “Such recognition is the result of everyone at General Carbide always working hard and being committed to excellence.”
Along with the other finalists, she will be recognized at a black tie dinner on Friday, June 10, at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.
